- you invited him before he became president, or had you invited President Kennedy and he inherited the job? G: No, we had not invited President Kennedy. The point was that the building wasn't ready, and we didn't know just when it was going
- Wentzel took pictures of them, of the two Presidents, together at that particular meeting. F: Did the President, President Kennedy, that is, come out to greet your group? Mc: No. There was a helicopter--a small hard-core group that went to the summer
- at West Point, at which time he was, of course, Vice President of the United States, with President Kennedy being President at the time. I spent most of the day with him. I met him at Stewart Air Force Base, which is near Newburgh, New York
